Notes: I saw this movie when it came out at the historic Tampa Theatre and absolutely loved it. I'm a huge fan of Jermaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) and saw Taike Waititi for the first time (the two star in the movie, co-wrote and co-produced the film). This is a "mocumentary" featuring 4 vampires that live in the same flat together and their arch-rivals, the werewolves, headed by Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords). There are so many hilarioius lines.
"We're werewolves, not swearwolves!"
"“I was thinking, maybe... I just should bring a broom down here for you if you wanted to sweep up some of the skeletons.”
This is the movie that inspired the streaming series on Hulu.
Would I watch it again? Yes.
