Notes: This Pink Panther stars Steve Martin, who may not be everyone's first choice or favorite in this role (RIP Peter Sellers) but honestly, this movie was much funnier than I expected, even if the critics hated it. I was surprised to see Jason Stratham and Beyonce ("Stop browbeating her! Can't you see she's sexy?") in this movie. I laughed really hard when Steve Martin was taking voice coaching lessons and struggled to say, "I would like to buy a hamburger." I mean, for that scene alone the movie was worth it for me but there were laughs throughout. I didn't expect this movie to score this many points and I kind of wish it didn't because it probably makes me look like a weirdo for laughing this much but I have to be honest - I chuckled and laughed throughout. There are 11 Pink Panther movies and of the 3 that I've watched so far (The Pink Panther-1963 and A Shot in the Dark-1964), this scored the highest but I will watch and score The Return of the Pink Panther, The Pink Panther Strikes Again and Revenge of the Pink Panther and see which is indeed the funniest.
Would I watch it again? I might be the only person in the world to say yes but honestly, I would.
