Notes: When I was in Junior High and my neighbor was in high school, he couldn't stop telling me about this hilarious movie he'd seen called, The Jerk. When I finally saw the movie 10 years later, I understood why. Steve Martin is utterly incredible and I fell in love with Bernadette Peters and her lovely singing voice, trumpeting ability and fascinating speaking voice not to mention she was easy on the eyes. I've since seen this movie at least a dozen times including within the last year so I was reluctant to watch and rate it, concerned that it would lose a bit of the funny factor. It didn't. I don't think it can. It's just one of the best and I'm not surprised that is one of the top comedic films that I've ever laid eyes on and scored as many points as it did.
