One Crazy Summer (1986) - 28 Points

Notes: I've been searching for a really funny John Cusack comedy from the 80's that was set on an island - that I hadn't seen in years. I thought this might be it but I don't think it is because this movie was only mildly funny. This looks like a movie that my friends and I could have made in the 80's and when I look at the name of the gentlemen who wrote and directed, I see that it was someone by the name of Savage Steve Holland, whom I had never heard of before. This movie features the comedy oddity that was known as Bobcat Goldthwait (who has a....unique verbal delivery) and "Booger" from Revenge of the Nerds (Curtis Armstrong) and a very young and attractive Demi Moore who plays a singer who is trying to raise enough money to save her families house on Nantuckett. I am a big fan of John Cusack (who plays a character named "Hoops" who sucks at basketball but is a good artist) but this isn't my favorite of his movies. 
Would I watch it again? No.
