Chuckles 81, Laughs 68, Belly Laughs 22
Notes: When I saw this movie in 2010, it was totally unlike any movie I'd ever seen before and several years later, it is still remarkable. It's part Indie Rock and part Video Game and all comedy. Weird, Quirky. Awkward. Hilarious! Being that this is one of my favorite movies, I thought it would likely score high but was slightly nervous that it wouldn't. There are plenty of comedies that I like a lot that don't score a ton of points but this movie does both. A plethora of quotable lines. Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim was awesome and Ellen Wong as Knives Chau was my favorite along with Kieran Culkin. Cool to see super heros; Brie Larson as a indie rocker and Chris Evans as a actor... er, that came out wrong.... Chris Evans playing a jerk actor who can really skateboard (doing the "thingy" down the rails). It's called a Grind, Bro! Great fun!!
