Notes: For Friday the 13th, I wanted to watch a "scary movie" and my cousin Jon assured me that I will love the Scary Movie series so I thought I'd check this (first one) out. I liked this movie but I can't say that I loved it. I may have set my expectations too high. It is funny, don't get me wrong and I love the idea of spoofing a horror movie (Scream). I've been told that the sequels are much funnier and better than the original and I am optimistic and happy to see them. That being said, there are funny scenes and non-stop chuckling throughout this Wayans Brothers movie. 77 points may be enough to keep it on the 100 funniest movies list, we'll see. I have about 200 more movies to watch/score. 
Would I watch it again? No, but I'm looking forward to #2.  ​​
