Notes: This movie is the best kept secret in comedy films and appears on almost no top lists but it is extremely funny. It stars Andy Griffith (before the Andy Griffith TV series). Though it starts a little slow and the ending is a little on the slow side, this movie provides lots of laughs in-between and scored high with a large number of hearty, belly laughs. The innocence and naivete Andy Griffith's character appeals to me in the same way Will Ferrell does in Elf and Ryan Rynolds does in the movie Free Guy.
