30. Madagascar (2005) - 99 Points
Chuckles 44, Laughs 26, Belly Laughs 17 Notes: I saw this movie years ago and remember it being very funny. I looked on every streaming service and it was not available, not even on Prime for rental so I literally ordered a dvd and had it shipped to me the old fashioned way, hoping that all of this was going to be worth it, that I wasn't wasting my time or money on a movie that wouldn't make it on the top 100. Whew! This animated (Dream Works) comedy film definitely delivered laughs. In light of the recent Chris Rock/Will & Jada Pinkett Smith "scandal," I was surprised that both Chris and Jada were in this film. This is a very funny movie that also features Ben Stiller, Sasha Baron Cohen (as King Julian), David Schwimmer and Tom McGrath. Although the movie main characters are the lion, the hippo, the zebra and giraffe, I felt that the penguins, the chimps, the lemurs (and the giraffe) really stole the show and supplied most of the laughs for me. This is a very funny movie for kids of all ages (including "adults"). Would I watch it again? Well, I better since I now own the dvd.
