Notes: This remake of the original 1995 movie is a wonderful adventure-comedy. Although it may not have made me laugh or chuckle as many times (in total) as Stepbrothers, the laughs were bigger and more significant with 21 Belly Laughs, boosting the score, much of that because of Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Dwayne Johnson. What I love about this movie is that the personality of the person playing the game kept shining through the actual in-game characters so The Rock acts like a "scared nerd" and Jack Black acts like the "hot girl" playing his character, etc... This is a really great reimagination of the original movie with Robin Williams, which I will watch and score. Karen Gillan got in great shape for this role (I was a fan of hers from her stint on Dr. Who) and I honestly couldn't take my eyes off her abs in every scene she was in. There were many funny scenes but for me, maybe the funniest was when her character (being played by a shy, nerdy girl) was trying to flirt with the guards to distract the and she began "dance-fighting!" This is a feel-good comedy. Would I watch it again? Yes.  ​
