As much as I wanted to love this movie, I just didn't. I think Melissa McCarthy is hilarious and Jason Bateman always plays the responsible, family man who you pull for because he's clean cut and seems like such a nice guy. In literally ever film or series I've seen him in, he plays that character so maybe, like Kevin Costner, he's not acting... that's just who he is. Anyway, I like his films and am a huge fan of Arrested Development so I was hoping this movie would score well. It simply didn't make me laugh very much other than a few chuckles here and there and I got to the point where I just didn't have an interest in watching it any longer and pulled the plug. Bummer.
