Chuckles 79, Laughs 28, Belly Laughs 8
Notes:
This is one of the funniest Christmas movies ever made (in my humble opinion). Opey (Ron Howard) really knows how to direct winning movies. Jim Carrey brings the Grinch to live with such zest. He's literally the only one that could have pulled it off. He has an uncanny ability to communicate his visual comedy while wearing a mask/prostetic, Truly remarkable. Whether it's the Holiday Season or not, if you haven't seen this movie, you should. It's literally my youngest daughter's favorite Christmas movie with great performances by Taylor Momsen (Cindy Lou Who) and Christine Baranski (Martha May Whovier) but let's be honest, this is the Jim Carrey Show. One of my favorite performances - the guy was just on fire.
Would I watch it again? Yes
