Notes: It it the "best" movie? Is it a good movie? That's a matter of opinion but this movie delivers lots of laughs the same way that Airplane and Naked Gun do; with silly, stupid and hilarious lines. I bought this DVD years ago and never unwrapped it and now I saw it streaming on HBO Max and watched it (I think I eventually just sold it at a yard sale unopened, at a loss). Go figure! This movie features a very buff Charlie Sheen with cameos with Martin Sheen and Bob Villa. Is that the same Colonel from Rambo? Yes it is, which is very fitting as Charlie Sheen plays a Ramboesque character who sets out to rescue the rescue team who was captured trying to rescue American POW's from Desert Storm. This movie also features the very funny Lloyd Bridges and Valeria Golino who delivers hilarious lines without blinking her mesmerizing eyes. Loved the nod to American Gladiators near the end of the film. I didn't realize there was a Hot Shots (part 1). I guess I'll need to add that to the list since this one scored so many points.
Would I watch it again? Maybe.
