76. Ghostbusters (1984) - 44.5 Points
Chuckles 31, Laughs 17, Belly Laughs 4 Notes: This movie was a giant blockbuster hit when it came out in the summer of 1984 and it inspired 3 additional Ghostbuster movies and a short-lived cartoon (all of which I've seen). It's a fun movie with lots to love including Sigourney Weaver's make up when she become possessed (seriously, she looks great) and the campy 80's special effects. I know Bill Murphy is the star of the show but Rick Moranis supplied most of the laughs for me. This movie landed where I thought it would, just half a point from another mainstream hit from the 80's (Big starring Tom Hanks). Would I watch it again? Maybe.
