46. Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) - 70.5 Points
Chuckles 45, Laughs 18, Belly Laughs 10 Notes: I've watched this movie several times over the years and it's one of my favorites. I was concerned that even though I love it, it might not score high, like the movie, Big. Well, it did score well and it was fun to watch once again. This is another of the most iconic comedies of the 80's. John Hughes wrote and directed a masterpiece of fun and one of the rare high school movies that wasn't raunchy. I have always remembered Ferris' words when he said, "life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." Love the "Twist and Shout" scene where John Hughes pays homage to another great Chicago comedy, The Blues Brothers. Favorite moment was probably where his sister kicks Rooney in the face 3x. It's a brilliant movie. Great soundtrack. Would I watch it again. Yes.
