Chuckles 87, Laughs 56, Belly Laughs 23
Notes: I realize that I've been only reviewing Christmas/Holiday Movies this time of year but keep in mind that Jim Carrey's character is named Lloyd Christmas so... this is a Christmas movie after all. First, I am proud to have been a fan of Jim Carrey since he was on "In Living Color" and until this movie, I hadn't seen Jeff Daniels in a comedy (that I could remember) but together, they knocked it out of the park! I really didn't think I'd ever laugh more or harder than I did watching this movie and felt like it would be tough, if not impossible to top. I seriously couldn't imagine a movie scoring higher when I watched it. When I first saw the movie, I was in tears laughing at the kung fu fight as well as Jeff Daniel's snowball fight. This is one of a select handful of comedies that I can and will watch and never tire of. Truly one of the funniest movies ever made. Would I watch it again? Absolutely! I've seen it many times and will likely watch it several more times. It's one of my absolute favorites.
