85. Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) - 19.5 Points
Chuckles 21, Laughs 6, Belly Laughs 1 Notes: I had been looking forward to this one because it has such an interesting film title and even though I have just about every streaming service, I had to pay to rent it since it doesn't appear anyway, not unlike Bull Durham, which also meant that even though the film did not meet my minimum expectations by scoring at least 15 points in the first 30 minutes, I felt compelled to continue watching. Interesting Plot - Boring Movie. I guess it's on all of the "expert's" lists because it's a Stanley Kubrick film? I don't know. George C. Scott was amazing. It was also amazing to see a very young James Earl Jones (I thought he was born old) and it was something to see Slim Pickens riding a nuke. Would I watch it again? Not a chance.
