8. Dinner For Schmucks (2010) - 134.5 Points
Chuckles 55, Laughs 36, Belly Laughs 27 Notes: My cousin Jon told me that this was one of the funniest movies he'd ever seen and I was hoping that it would score high enough to land on the top 100 list and as of May 4. 2022, it is in the top 10. Steve Carrell's character is such an idiot and utter complete tornado of destruction despite best intentions creating some incredibly uncomfortable and hilarious situations. I absolutely could not stop laughing throughout and although there were a lot of chuckles, (to this point, I've watched around 150 movies) and this has the highest total of big (belly) laughs of any movie I've scored. This movie is an absolute home run! Jermaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords), who is one of my favorite comedians is hysterical and the very loveable Paul Rudd who's life is being destroyed before his very eyes is consistently awesome. Throw in IRS agent and champion of mind control; Zach Galifianakis for good measure, I mean, this is one of the most underrated comedies that I've seen. Would I watch it again? Yes.
