Notes: I didn't see this movie when it came out because it looked boring but I saw it on an "experts" top 100 comedies of all time list and thought, I should watch it and maybe I missed a gem. I almost stopped at the 40 minute mark because it was slow and there were just a few laughs to that point but I thought I should continue and see. Well, I should have trusted my gut. I'm certain this is a comedy. It's just a rather slow baseball movie though Susan Sarandon looked great and is a wonderful actor. Would I watch it again? No. ​
