Blazing Saddles - 70 points
Chuckles 60, Laughs 25, Belly Laughs 3 Notes: I had seen this movie many years ago on TV and remember laughing quite a lot. This movie is also highly rated on a number of other movie websites as a top comedy so I fully expected it to score high and land in the top 20. The premise of the movie is a corrupt politician sends a black sheriff to a racist town. There are many quotable lines that have stood the test of time from this 1974 movie but hearing the "n-word" repeatedly throughout the film was "nails on a chalkboard" for me. My favorite scenes are with Mongo and I loved Mel Brooks playing homage to Looney Tunes with a telegram delivery. This movie is funny but it wasn't nearly as funny as I'd hoped and expected it to be.
