The Big Store (1941) - 30 Points

Notes: I LOVED this movie when I was a kid and I became a huge fan of the Marx Brothers, especially Harpo. As an adult, I find that this movie is not nearly as funny as the other movies and that Groucho is my favorite. Funny how that happens. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of chuckles. I love it when Groucho dances and it was fantastic to see both Chico and Harpo playing a duete on the piano. There is lots of music, lots of singing. Really an interesting scene with a woman singing a lullaby in the store to a baby with intentionally no emotion. Harpo plays lots of instruments like the harp, piano, violin and cello. Although the lowest scoring Marx Brothers film for me, I still had fun watching it.
Would I watch it again? I'm not sure. Twice might have been enough. ​
